What the labels mean
Player and Banker are betting positions, not the customer and dealer. Two hands are dealt and completed according to fixed drawing rules. Players do not choose whether either hand takes another card.
How totals work
Only the final digit counts. A hand totalling 15 is valued at 5; 18 is valued at 8. Nine is the highest total. If initial cards form a natural 8 or 9, drawing generally stops.
Player and Banker bets
Player wins when that hand finishes higher. Banker wins when the Banker hand finishes higher, but common versions charge commission on Banker wins because its probability is slightly stronger. Check the table’s exact commission.
The Tie bet
Tie pays a larger multiple because it occurs less often, but its house edge is usually much higher than the main bets. A dramatic payout does not imply better value. Side bets should be evaluated separately.
No-commission variants
Some tables remove commission but alter payouts for specific Banker results. The change is not free; it reshapes the edge. Read the paytable instead of assuming no commission means better odds.
Keep the game simple
Scorecards and streak displays record history but cannot predict the next independent deal. Fixed small stakes and a round limit are more useful than pattern systems.
